Data Deletion Request

At Bazum, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so at any time.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Sign in to your account

   Log in to your Bazum account using your credentials. If you signed in with Facebook, use the “Sign in with Facebook” option.

2. Go to your Profile

   Click on your avatar in the top right corner and select “Profile” from the dropdown menu.

3. Click “Edit Profile”

   On your profile page, click the “Edit Profile” button to access your account settings.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page

   At the bottom of the Edit Profile page, you'll find the account deletion section.

5. Click “Delete Account”

   Click the red “Delete Account” button and confirm your decision in the popup dialog.

What Data Gets Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
• All your listings and associated images
• Message history and conversations
• Account preferences and settings
• Login credentials and authentication tokens

Note: Some data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records for tax compliance, fraud prevention).

Alternative: Deactivate Your Account

If you're not ready to permanently delete your account, you can temporarily deactivate your listings instead:

• Go to “My Items” in your account
• Select the items you want to deactivate
• Click “Deactivate” to hide them from public view
• You can reactivate them later whenever you want
