Welcome to Bazum. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our classified ads marketplace platform. By accessing or using Bazum, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Bazum's services, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Have read and understood our Privacy Policy

2. User Accounts

2.1 Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

2.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our discretion.

3. Listing and Content Guidelines

3.1 Permitted Content

You may only post listings for:

• Legal goods and services that you have the right to sell
• Items that comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Accurate descriptions with honest pricing

3.2 Prohibited Content

You must NOT post listings for:

• Illegal items, weapons, drugs, or controlled substances
• Stolen goods or counterfeit items
• Adult content or services
• Items that infringe intellectual property rights
• Living animals (restrictions may apply)
• Hazardous or dangerous materials
• Misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
• Spam, duplicate listings, or irrelevant content

3.3 Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of content you post on Bazum
• By posting content, you grant Bazum a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on our platform
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content you upload

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or data mine our platform
• Circumvent any security features or access controls
• Post viruses, malware, or harmful code

5. Transactions and Payments

5.1 Buyer-Seller Relationship

• Bazum facilitates connections between buyers and sellers but is not a party to transactions
• All transactions are directly between buyers and sellers
• Bazum is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of items

5.2 Payment Responsibility

• Sellers are responsible for accurate pricing and transaction processing
• Buyers are responsible for payment and understanding item details before purchase
• Payment methods and arrangements are between buyer and seller

5.3 Fees

We may charge fees for certain services or features. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur them. During the beta period, most features are free.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Bazum's Rights

All content, features, and functionality of Bazum (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software) are owned by Bazum and protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Bazum for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

7.1 Service “As Is”

Bazum is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7.2 No Warranty

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable
• Defects will be corrected
• User-generated content is accurate, reliable, or lawful

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bazum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bazum, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your use of the service
• Your content or listings

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 User Disputes

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Bazum is not obligated to become involved in disputes between users, but may do so at its discretion.

9.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Armenia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9.3 Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Bazum shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Armenian law, except where prohibited by law.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Bazum after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Bazum immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
